Dr. Syed Sibtain Haider Zaidi is an Islamic scholar, educator, institutional architect, and community leader with 26 years of professional experience in Islamic education, research, institution-building, and public engagement. His work is centered on strengthening educational institutions, cultivating ethical leadership, promoting social harmony, and developing constructive dialogue between faith, public policy, and society.

He serves as the Sajjādah Nashīn (Hereditary Spiritual Head) of Khanqah-e-Barkaatiya, Marehra Sharif, and is the Founder and Chairman of Jamia Aley Rasool, an institution dedicated to integrating traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary educational and societal needs. Through these roles, he contributes to the development of educational and institutional frameworks rooted in knowledge, ethical values, and social responsibility.

Dr. Zaidi’s areas of expertise extend across Islamic Studies, education, history, technology, and journalism, with additional specialization in institutional architecture, Islamic scholarship, public policy, peacebuilding, governance, educational leadership, civilizational strategy, and research and thought leadership.

His academic background includes Dars-e-Nizami (Classical Islamic Studies) and an Honorary Doctorate (Honoris Causa) from Fintess University, Spain. His interdisciplinary orientation reflects an effort to connect traditional Islamic learning with contemporary educational, institutional, and societal challenges.

At the international level, he serves as a Global Peace Ambassador with the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research (IPPDR), contributing to initiatives related to peace, diplomacy, and community development. His lectures, writings, and advisory activities emphasize knowledge, ethical governance, sustainable institutional development, and social harmony.

Within Imkanat, Dr. Zaidi serves as an Editorial Board Member – Research & Strategy, providing strategic direction for the organization’s intellectual, editorial, and institutional development.
